Excel Add-ins issue

Hi,

I am trying to upload Journals data from excel using excel add-ins feature in AX. I have created data as per excel template provided by Microsoft for Contoso (GJJournal.xls)

Also I have checked all possible configuration in AX and excel. The issue is when I am clicking Published in excel information technology does non button data into AX even it show Tape Published 1 bulletin in separate excel worksheet and clear out all tape in excel.

When I am going into AX, General Ledger module it does not show whatsoever record.

Hi Santosh,

Have you lot checked if there is a new record in the table LedgerJournalTrans from within the AOT (table browser)? Did you provide a value for the periodical table?

I have check using data browser, data is missing in LedgerJournalTrans tabular array.

Also similar to know what exercise you mean by value for journal table.

Each journal line should have a journal ID which is referring to a record in the table LedgerJournalTable. This is the header record for each journal.

Below is the excel format ( Header and Details ) I am using for excel import.

As well there is message screen what I am getting while saving the excel. After upload when I am query on LedgerJournalTable table no record are constitute.

Promise this is enough to understand the issue.

One thing I see is you demand to pass dummy recID'southward.  Any unique integer for each row will piece of work.  I drag 1001,1002,1003,etc down.

After giving some number to RECID, I am getting this mistake

  Invalid certificate schema. The following error was returned:  The element 'GeneralJournalEntry' in namespace.

ane. Bank check if your excel file connects to the right AOS instance and right visitor.

ii. In your information, are ledger accounts 'BCEL' and 'ABCD' valid?

iii. RecId of trans line is required, only not header.

4. 'Company account' and 'Offset company account' are required at trans line.

I have created new excel template and using that new excel file I am able to upload data into AX. Not sure why the template provide by MS failed.

Anyway my trouble solved that is more than important as present.

I am post-obit below links to add Invoice number and Taxation details merely not able to push these details.

I take followed exactly the same process.

1. Added fields in AxdLedgerGeneralJournal Query from LedgerJournalTrans field.

2. Inbound ports Ledger Service deactivated and activated.

iii. Created new field and added all details along with Invoice and Taxation field.

But after published from excel all data are going except Invoice and Tax details.

Does whatever one guide me where I am doing incorrect steps.

After you lot add the new fields, please exercise these

1. Compile total CIL.

two. Refresh that AIF service at form 'AIF services'. You can observe that form in AOT, named 'aifservices'.

3. re-activate your service at 'Inbound ports'.

These are what Ludwig Reinhard said in the post you lot mentioned.
